If you are considering rhinoplasty, the first consultation is where your journey begins. It's a chance to talk openly about what you'd like to change, ask questions and understand your options.

Who Will I See?
Mr Khalid Ali is a specialist ENT & facial plastic surgeon. Because his expertise is in both the function and the appearance of the nose, he evalute how your nose is working as well as how it looks. Many patients come to us with breathing difficulties as well as cosmetic concerns and both can be considered together.

What Happens at My Appointment?

- A conversation first. You'll be asked what you'd like to change, what's bothering you most and your motivation for surgery.

- An examination. Mr Ali will assess your nose, including your breathing and the structure inside.

- An honest discussion. You will hear what is and what isn't realistic for your nose, the options available to you, the inclusive cost and risks and benefits of surgery.

- Time for your questions. There is no such thing as a silly question, so please write yours down before your consultation.

What to Bring?

- A list of questions
- Details of any medication you take and any previous surgery
- Photos of noses you like, if that helps explain what you have in mind.

Recovery & Timelines

Everyone heals differently and Mr Ali will talk through what to expect for your own situation, including time off work and when to expect swelling to settle.
